Where Do I Start

So obviously I haven't updated my blog in quite some time. I am trying to decide what to even say to catch everyone up. Well most of you know we don't live in Cedar City anymore....which we miss but Devin's work transfered him to the Richfield office. Now he is doing design work for UDOT. We are currently living with Devin's parents until we decide what we want to do. Devin can start applying for permenant jobs in May and if he gets one chances are it will be back down south. So we are camping out for now.
Carter is now 3 and is into anything Super Hero. He is about 5 different super heros a day. He also is loving games. We play Bingo, Go Fish, Uno Moo, Super Hero Memory etc. He has been so much fun. He is loving being a big brother and helping out.
Brooke is now 6 months old. I can't believe how quickly the time goes. I can't believe I have 2 children either. She is loving her food and is getting it everywhere. Her dark hair she was born with is gone to be replaced by blonde.
We are loving our little family and can't believe how blessed we have been.

July 24th

Brooke Is Finally Here

Brooke Monroe is here. She was born on Monday July 20th at 3:48 pm. She weighed 5 lbs 10 oz and is 18 inches long. Brooke is a tiny bundle of joy and we are very excited she is here.

Still Waiting

So we can't wait to see Baby Brooke. But of course she is going to be stubborn like her brother and we will probably not have her until the end of July. What do you do......they have a mind of their own that's for sure. Carter wonders everyday when he will see her. We will keep you posted when she finally makes her appearance.

Finally

So I think Devin and I finally decided on a name for this little bundle. We are going to call her Brooke..... well unless she comes out and looks entirely un-Brooke-ish. Even Carter has started calling her baby Brooke instead of Green or Blue. We are really making progress at our house.

Devin and I made a list of the girl names the we both like for the bundle in my belly. We each made a list then vetoed the ones we least liked until we came up with 10 names. then we each ranked the names 1-10 and Devin averaged the rankings to come up with our top ten and here they are first to 10th. Brooke, Lindsie, Sadie, Alex, Janey, Natalie, Kaelyn, Whitney, Hayden, and Jade. I am sure the list will change before the end of Julybut this is where we are at the moment.
